2. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
By making a purchase through Raindoor's official sales channels, the Consumer represents that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable policies published on the website, including the Shipping Policy, Exchange and Return Policy, Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of these Terms is required to complete a purchase. By confirming the order, the Consumer expressly agrees to all applicable terms.
3. International Nature of the Sale
The Consumer acknowledges that products are sold by CHILERAINDOOR SPA, a company organized under Chilean law, and that the purchase constitutes an international import transaction from Chile into the United States.
Orders may be subject to controls, verification, and inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other competent authorities.
All applicable taxes, duties, fees, and import charges are included in the final amount paid at checkout under the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) model. No additional payments will be required upon delivery.
4. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Tax Model
All international purchases operate under the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) model. This means all taxes, tariffs, import duties, customs fees, and other applicable charges are included in the final checkout amount.
The applicable tax structure may vary by state, territory, or local jurisdiction. Taxes may be included in the product price or itemized separately during checkout.
5. e-CROSS as Merchant of Record (MoR)
For international transactions, e-CROSS acts as Merchant of Record and may:
- Process payments on behalf of Raindoor.
- Issue payment confirmations and transaction-related documentation.
- Use authorized third-party payment processors to manage and validate payments.
- Manage operational, tax, and regulatory matters associated with international sales.
The products are purchased directly from CHILERAINDOOR SPA (Raindoor), which remains responsible for product offer, availability, quality, warranties, exchanges, returns, and customer service.
6. Customs Representation
The Consumer may be deemed the importer or ultimate consignee by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). By placing an international order, the Consumer expressly authorizes e-CROSS to coordinate the administrative and logistical steps necessary for importation, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
This authorization is limited exclusively to actions necessary for importation, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of the products.
7. Products
Products sold through Raindoor's international online store are intended solely for personal use and not for commercial purposes, resale, or distribution, unless expressly authorized in writing by Raindoor.
Raindoor will use reasonable efforts to provide sufficient product information; however, it does not guarantee that all hard-copy documentation included with a product will be translated into English.
8. Orders and Payment
The total order amount shown before confirming the transaction may include:
- The price of the selected products.
- International shipping costs.
- Shipping insurance, where applicable.
- Taxes, tariffs, customs fees, and other import charges.
- For customs purposes, the purchaser's information must match the cardholder information.
Payments are processed by e-CROSS Soluções de Tecnologia Cross Border Ltda., acting as Merchant of Record. Order confirmation is subject to verification and approval of the selected payment method.
9. Customs Clearance and Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by customs inspections, regulatory controls, logistics disruptions, force majeure events, or any other circumstance beyond the control of Raindoor or e-CROSS.
Delays resulting from customs or regulatory procedures will not constitute a breach by Raindoor or e-CROSS when they have exercised reasonable diligence in managing the shipment.
10. International Shipping Policy
Processing Time
Once payment is approved, the order enters the preparation and shipping process:
- Order preparation time: 24 business hours.
- Processing period: 24 business hours.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
Transit Time
- Estimated international delivery time: 4 to 6 business days.
- Timeframes begin after order processing is completed.

Charges Due Upon Delivery
Under the DDP model, all applicable taxes, tariffs, fees, and import charges are included in the checkout amount. No additional payments will be required upon delivery.

- Return policy display: Must be clear and accessible; federal law does not require a cancellation button.
- Applicable time limit: No uniform federal period. Raindoor offers 10 calendar days after receipt.

13. Right to Cancel — United States
General Operational Recommendation
As a customer service best practice, Raindoor may offer return terms more favorable than those required by applicable local law. When a return is accepted, the refund may include:
- The product price.
- Shipping costs.
- Taxes, duties, and other import charges.
- Other mandatory charges included at checkout.
Right to Cancel
The United States does not provide a general federal right to cancel an online apparel purchase solely due to a change of mind. The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule (16 CFR Part 429) does not cover sales made entirely online, by mail, or by telephone.
Under Raindoor's commercial policy, the Consumer may request a return without stating a reason within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the product.
Procedure for Exercising the Right to Cancel
To request a return, the Consumer must provide:
- Full name.
- Order number.
- Email address associated with the purchase.
- The product(s) the Consumer wishes to return.
Return Costs
All costs associated with pickup, transportation, and return of the product will be paid by Raindoor, at no cost to the Consumer.
Product Conditions
To request a change-of-mind return, the product must be unused, have its original tags attached, and be in resalable condition. These conditions do not limit any rights applicable to defective products under applicable law.
Refund
Once the return is approved, Raindoor will process a full refund using the same payment method used for the purchase. The refund will include all amounts actually charged in accordance with applicable law and the policies then in effect.
If an unshipped order is canceled because the shipping deadline was not met, Raindoor will issue the full and timely refund required by the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, 16 CFR Part 435.
