These Terms govern the relationship between CHILERAINDOOR SPA (Raindoor), as the seller of the products, and the final purchaser (the “Consumer”). e-CROSS participates as Merchant of Record, payment facilitator, and provider of technological, financial, and operational services for international e-commerce transactions.
2. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
By placing an order through Raindoor’s official sales channels, the Consumer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, together with the applicable Shipping, Exchange and Return, Warranty, and Privacy policies published on the website.
Acceptance of these Terms is required to complete a purchase. By confirming an order, the Consumer agrees to the conditions applicable to the transaction.
3. International Nature of the Sale
The Consumer acknowledges that the products are sold by CHILERAINDOOR SPA, a company established in Chile, and that the purchase constitutes an international import transaction from Chile into the United States.
Orders may be subject to customs controls, verification, inspection, or other regulatory procedures carried out by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or other competent authorities.
Applicable taxes, duties, fees, and import charges are included in the amount paid by the Consumer at checkout under the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) model.
No additional customs or import payments should be required from the Consumer at the time of delivery.
4. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Tax Model
International purchases made through Raindoor operate under the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) model.
This means that applicable taxes, tariffs, customs duties, import fees, and other mandatory import charges are calculated before completion of the purchase and incorporated into the final amount displayed at checkout.
The applicable tax structure may vary according to the destination state, territory, or local jurisdiction. Depending on the transaction, taxes and charges may appear within the product price or may be shown separately during checkout.
Raindoor and e-CROSS may update the manner in which taxes and import charges are calculated or displayed when necessary to comply with regulatory, customs, or tax requirements.
5. e-CROSS as Merchant of Record (MoR)
For international transactions made through Raindoor’s online store, e-CROSS acts as Merchant of Record and may:
- Process payments on behalf of Raindoor.
- Issue payment confirmations and transaction-related documentation.
- Use authorized third-party payment processors.
- Manage operational, tax, regulatory, and payment matters associated with international transactions.
The products are purchased from CHILERAINDOOR SPA (Raindoor), which remains responsible for the product offer, availability, quality, warranties, exchanges, returns, and customer service, subject to applicable law.
6. Customs Representation
For customs purposes, the Consumer may be treated as the importer or ultimate consignee by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
By placing an international order, the Consumer authorizes e-CROSS and its designated service providers to coordinate the administrative, customs, regulatory, and logistical actions necessary to import, clear, transport, and deliver the products.
This authorization is limited to activities reasonably required for the international transaction and customs process.
7. Products
Products sold through Raindoor’s international online store are intended exclusively for personal use and not for commercial resale, distribution, or other business purposes unless expressly authorized by Raindoor in writing.
Raindoor will make reasonable efforts to provide sufficient product information. Physical labels, documentation, instructions, or other material included with a product may not necessarily be translated into English.
8. Orders and Payment
Before confirming an international purchase, the Consumer will be shown the total amount payable for the order.
The amount may include:
- The price of the selected products.
- International shipping costs.
- Shipping insurance, when applicable.
- Taxes, tariffs, customs duties, and other import charges.
- Any other mandatory amounts applicable to the transaction.
For customs and payment verification purposes, the purchaser information may be required to match the cardholder information.
Payments are processed by e-CROSS Soluções de Tecnologia Cross Border Ltda. as Merchant of Record, either directly or through authorized payment service providers.
Order confirmation is subject to payment authorization, verification, fraud-prevention controls, and any other security procedures applicable to the transaction.
9. Customs Clearance and Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes displayed on the website are estimates based on ordinary order preparation, international transportation, and customs clearance conditions.
Delivery may be affected by customs inspections, regulatory controls, documentation requirements, logistics disruptions, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Raindoor, e-CROSS, or the logistics provider.
Delays resulting from customs or regulatory procedures will not constitute a breach when reasonable diligence has been exercised in managing the shipment.
10. International Shipping Policy

No additional import or customs payment should be required from the Consumer upon delivery.

General Provisions
This policy governs international purchases made through Raindoor’s online store. Returns may be subject to requirements arising from applicable federal, state, or local law and the commercial return policy communicated by Raindoor.

- Proof of purchase must be provided.
Circumstances in Which a Return Will Not Be Accepted
A change-of-mind return may be declined when:
- The garment has been damaged through misuse.
- The product has been worn or used beyond reasonable inspection.
These conditions do not limit any rights the Consumer may have in relation to defective, non-conforming, or incorrectly supplied products.
Return Shipping
The Consumer must submit the return request using the return process made available by Raindoor.
Raindoor will review the request and will generally respond within five (5) business days.
Once approved, shipping instructions, the applicable return label, and any pickup arrangements will be coordinated with the Consumer.

The treatment of such amounts may vary depending on the destination state, applicable rules, and e-CROSS operating procedures.
12. Special Considerations for the United States
The United States does not provide a single general federal cancellation right for ordinary apparel purchases completed entirely online solely because the Consumer changes their mind.
Return policy disclosure: Raindoor’s return policy must be presented clearly and made reasonably accessible to Consumers.
Applicable commercial period: Raindoor offers a return period of 10 calendar days after receipt of the order.
State and local rules: additional requirements may apply depending on the Consumer’s destination state or local jurisdiction.
13. Right to Cancel — United States
General Operational Recommendation
Raindoor may provide return conditions that are more favorable than the minimum requirements imposed by applicable law.
When a return is accepted, the refund may include:
- The product price.
- Shipping costs, where applicable.
- Taxes, duties, and import charges.
- Other mandatory amounts charged at checkout.
Right to Cancel
There is no general federal right to cancel an online apparel purchase solely because the Consumer changes their mind. The federal Cooling-Off Rule generally does not apply to transactions completed entirely online, by mail, or by telephone.
Under Raindoor’s commercial policy, the Consumer may nevertheless request a change-of-mind return within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the product.
Procedure for Requesting a Return
The Consumer must submit the request through Raindoor’s official return channel and provide:
- Full name.
- Order number.
- Email address associated with the purchase.
- The product or products to be returned.
Return Costs
Under Raindoor’s current commercial policy for the United States, the costs associated with pickup, transportation, and return of an approved product are paid by Raindoor.
Product Conditions
For a change-of-mind return, the product must be unused, have its original tags attached, and remain in a condition suitable for resale.
These requirements do not reduce or restrict rights applicable to defective or non-conforming products.
Refund
Once the return is approved and the applicable conditions have been satisfied, Raindoor will process the refund using the same payment method used for the purchase.
The refund will include the amounts required under applicable law and Raindoor’s return policy in effect for the transaction.
If an order is canceled because an applicable shipping deadline was not met, Raindoor will process the refund required under the applicable FTC rules governing mail, internet, or telephone merchandise orders.
